Akiba Commercial Bank Plc invites dynamic and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Sales Agents. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to develop their skills and contribute to achieving the retail sales objectives of the bank.
Role Purpose:
As a Direct Sales Agent, your primary responsibility will be to acquire and retain customers, promote ACB’s products and services, and enhance customer relationships while adhering to the bank’s operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition and Relationship Building:
- Actively seek out new customers through appointments, referrals, or door-to-door engagements in your assigned area.
- Open new accounts for customers and assist with collecting account opening fees.
- Register customers on Akiba Mobile and educate them on self-service banking options.
Sales and Campaign Participation:
- Promote and sell bank products and services, ensuring adherence to sales quotas.
- Participate in campaigns, events, and special projects to enhance product awareness and generate leads.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional bank services to new and existing customers.
Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure all accounts meet the bank’s KYC standards and follow established processes.
- Maintain proper records of working tools and marketing materials.
- Continuously improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service to prevent misrepresentation.
Operational Excellence:
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences, and pricing strategies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster lasting relationships with clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of direct sales and banking products/services.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Comfortable working outdoors and during non-standard business hours.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Proficient in using MS Word and Excel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Eligibility: This opportunity is open exclusively to 2024 fresh graduates.
