Position: Base and Facilities Officer
📍 Location: Liwale, Lindi
📌 Reports to: Logistics Manager
⏳ Employment Type: Full-Time (100%)
Your Key Responsibilities
🔹 Oversee and coordinate vehicle movements, ensuring security measures are strictly followed.
🔹 Track fuel consumption, supplies, and maintenance for office, accommodation, and storage facilities.
🔹 Ensure proper waste disposal and upkeep of outdoor spaces.
🔹 Conduct regular facility inspections, ensuring functionality of water supply, electricity, walls, and overall security.
🔹 Supervise maintenance of equipment related to cold chain, energy, IT, and radio communications.
🔹 Manage equipment inventory, renew authorizations, and oversee electrical installations and generators.
🔹 Handle local procurement, ensuring quality standards are met.
🔹 Provide support to the supply team and monitor security personnel activities.
🔹 Participate in trainings as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Education: Minimum secondary education.
✅ Experience: Prior experience with NGOs is an advantage.
✅ Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and construction.
✅ Computer Literacy: Essential for record-keeping and reporting.
✅ Languages: Fluency in English and Kiswahili is required.
✅ Soft Skills: Teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, and strong organizational skills.
