Key Responsibilities:
✔ Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and proper use of PPE among plant team members
- Report Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) issues and perform task risk assessments
- Ensure plant operates within acceptable limits and all preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) are performed accurately
✔ Plant Maintenance & Monitoring:
- Maintain plant in line with company operation policies and SOPs
- Ensure adequate stock of critical sensors, valves, flow meters, and other essential parts
- Conduct regular plant inspections for defects and perform maintenance as needed
✔ Instrumentation & Troubleshooting:
- Inspect, test, adjust, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments
- Troubleshoot and solve process control problems, including PLC systems, SCADA, VSD, and Soft Starters
- Ensure the monitoring of flows, feed processes, and water quality
✔ Communication & Reporting:
- Perform shift handovers and proactively identify and act on plant performance deviations
- Keep records of calibrations, parts used, and parts inventory
- Review engineering specifications and blueprints to determine work procedures
Required Qualifications & Certifications:
🎓 Education & Licenses:
- Industrial Instrumentation Trade Test
- Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Instrumentation or Automation is an added advantage
- Valid Driving License
🔧 Experience & Technical Skills:
- At least 2 years of post-trade test experience
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics SCADA systems, PLC systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens), and industrial field instrumentation fault finding
- Proficient in Ethernet networks (wired & wireless)
- Knowledge of process control systems, VSD, and Soft Starters
