Role Overview

As a Fleet Coordinator (Tracker), you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking Alistair Group’s truck fleet using GPS systems. Your role will be critical in:

Ensuring trucks reach their destinations safely
Recording and analyzing fleet data
Responding to transit issues efficiently
Supporting operations in case of emergencies

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Fleet Monitoring & Tracking:

  • Monitor real-time GPS locations of trucks and document movements.
  • Track vehicle performance and ensure compliance with operational guidelines.

🔹 Operational Support & Communication:

  • Report and escalate any operational challenges affecting fleet movements.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between drivers, support staff, and management.
  • Provide updates on truck status, delays, and route deviations.

🔹 Security & Risk Management:

  • Assist in the recovery of stolen vehicles by providing tracking data.
  • Identify and address potential security threats to cargo and fleet.

🔹 Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities.
  • Generate reports on fleet performance, trip efficiency, and challenges faced.

Required Qualifications & Skills

🎓 Education & Experience:
✅ A Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field (Logistics, Transport Management, or similar).
✅ Experience in transport or logistics support is an advantage.

💡 Key Skills:
Excellent communication skills (English & Kiswahili fluency required).
Strong computer literacy (proficiency in GPS and tracking systems).
Exceptional administrative skills for accurate record-keeping.
Problem-solving ability to tackle transit issues effectively.
