Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, you will be responsible for the operational execution of training programs, coordination of performance management initiatives, and overall facilitation of employee learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development Coordination:

✅ Organize and oversee the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, venue management, and participant communication.
✅ Monitor attendance, track learning outcomes, and collect feedback to improve training effectiveness.
✅ Submit monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing training progress, key programs, and improvement recommendations.
✅ Manage the e-learning platform, including staff registration, participation tracking, and test completion.
✅ Assist in developing the annual training budget by sourcing competitive market rates for identified training programs.
✅ Prepare and manage detailed budgets for specific training initiatives and obtain necessary approvals before execution.
✅ Handle financial processes, including petty cash reconciliation and payment of training-related invoices.
✅ Coordinate offshore training, including visa processing and per diem arrangements.
✅ Issue training certificates for in-house learning programs.
✅ Recommend necessary equipment and resources to enhance learning initiatives.
✅ Work closely with Line Managers and Heads of Departments to identify employee training needs and align them with the organization’s training calendar.

Performance Management Support:

🔹 Oversee the performance management system and ensure timely completion of staff appraisals.
🔹 Track and monitor Personal Score Cards (PSCs) and appraisal reports to facilitate management decisions.
🔹 Generate performance trend reports and highlight key areas for improvement.
🔹 Support Line Managers in effectively implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
🔹 Assist in automating key performance management processes for enhanced efficiency.

Leadership & Talent Development Support:

📌 Coordinate career development programs by tracking employee growth and progression.
📌 Assist in implementing leadership initiatives, including Executive Training, Management Trainee Programs, and Talent Development Programs.
📌 Facilitate the onboarding, rotation, and mentorship of Management Trainees.
📌 Organize coaching sessions for employees in the talent pool and provide follow-ups on agreed learning and development interventions.

Process Optimization & Risk Management:

🔹 Identify opportunities to streamline and automate Learning & Development initiatives for greater efficiency.
🔹 Maintain and enhance risk management procedures related to Learning & Development operations.
🔹 Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
🔹 Address and resolve risk management exceptions identified during audits and reviews.


What You Need to Succeed

Skills & Competencies:

✔ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
✔ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with learning/performance management systems.
✔ Ability to facilitate training programs and utilize employee engagement tools effectively.
✔ Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
🎓 Master’s degree and professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are an added advantage.
💼 2-3 years of experience in Learning & Development or HR operations.
