Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Riders to Escort Containers during transit. This role is critical in ensuring the safe transportation of cargo, providing security and guidance for container shipments from origin to destination, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Escort container trucks safely from departure to final destination.
✅ Ensure cargo security, monitoring for any potential threats or irregularities.
✅ Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while riding.
✅ Maintain constant communication with the control center via radio or mobile devices.
✅ Report any incidents such as security threats, mechanical issues, or route deviations.
✅ Identify alternate routes in case of road diversions or emergencies.
✅ Ensure smooth coordination between drivers, security teams, and logistics personnel.

Required Qualifications & Skills

🛡️ Security & Safety

  • Certified Security Guard Training with knowledge of security protocols.
  • Familiarity with access control, surveillance, and emergency response procedures.

🏍️ Riding & Licensing

  • Valid motorcycle license with proven safe riding experience.
  • Strong understanding of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
  • Ability to ride in urban and off-road conditions.

📡 Communication & Problem-Solving

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting.
  • Quick decision-making ability in emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in using radio communication and other escort-related equipment.

💪 Physical & Professional Attributes

  • Physically fit for long hours of riding.
  • High situational awareness and ability to respond to security threats.
  • Disciplined, ethical, and professional demeanor when interacting with clients, drivers, and authorities.

📆 Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in security escort services or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with container handling operations is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of routes from the Port of Dar es Salaam to Hesu Investment Ltd, including alternate paths for contingencies.
