Intern Digital Officer – Dar es Salaam
📌 Reporting to: Business Development Manager
📌 Location: Dar es Salaam
📌 Internship Type: Full-time
We are looking for an innovative, tech-savvy, and creative Intern Digital Officer to enhance MST’s digital presence and support various online engagement and marketing initiatives. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or student looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the healthcare sector.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Social Media Management
✅ Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
✅ Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and analyze audience insights.
✅ Support in growing MST’s online communities and increasing engagement.
2️⃣ Content Creation & Digital Marketing
✅ Design engaging graphics, short videos, and visual content using Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools.
✅ Assist in writing blog posts, website content, and social media captions.
✅ Support in executing email marketing campaigns, including content creation and distribution.
3️⃣ Website & SEO Optimization
✅ Update website content and ensure all information remains current.
✅ Assist in implementing SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
4️⃣ Data Analysis & Reporting
✅ Track and analyze digital performance using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other tools.
✅ Provide insights and recommendations for improving digital campaigns.
5️⃣ Additional Digital Initiatives
✅ Assist in organizing online webinars and virtual events.
✅ Conduct research on emerging digital marketing trends and best practices.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
✔ Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
✔ Proficiency in social media management tools, Google Analytics, and digital marketing platforms.
✔ Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM principles.
✔ Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
✔ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
✔ Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications (an added advantage!)
✔ Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
✔ Knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
✔ Prior internship or work experience in digital marketing or healthcare.
