About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic HR Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting key human resources functions. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a deep understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job opportunities, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding by preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Handle employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and exits.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and assist with HR audits and investigations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company perks.

Learning & Development

  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee training and development programs.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Support resolution of employee concerns, promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist in performance appraisals and ensure the effective implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework.

Young Talent Management & University Partnerships

  • Coordinate engagements with partnered universities and training institutions.
  • Assist in organizing university events, internships, and talent pipeline programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years (preferred 4 years) in HR-related roles.
Certifications: HRCI, SHRM, or CIPD certification is a plus.
Languages: Fluency in English & Swahili is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software tools.
