🔧 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Operate plant circuits within defined parameters under metallurgical guidelines.
✅ Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
✅ Report machinery failures and abnormalities for prompt repair.
✅ Perform hourly/shift sample collection and submit for analysis.
✅ Handle and mix reagents according to safety standards.
✅ Conduct equipment readings and analysis to ensure process efficiency.
✅ Participate in planned and unplanned shutdowns of the plant.
✅ Engage in mill relining and raw material handling operations.
✅ Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
📚 Qualification Requirements:
🎓 Minimum: Form IV Secondary Education
🎓 Added Advantage: Diploma/FTC in Mineral Processing or related field
🎓 Additional Certifications:
✔ Mines Health & Safety Act Awareness
💼 Experience & Competencies Required:
✔ 1+ year experience in process plant operations.
✔ 2+ years experience in mineral processing plant operations.
✔ 2+ years experience in reagent handling & mixing.
✔ 2+ years experience in TSF operations.
✔ Experience in Polywelding (advantageous).
✔ Hands-on experience with:
- Comminution (crushing & grinding circuits).
- Gravity/concentrator operations.
- Cyclone classification processes.
- Heavy media separation.
- Mill relining (added advantage).
- Stockpile/raw material handling.
- Documentation & communication management.
- Computer literacy (Excel proficiency is a plus).
